Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung said of anyone who compares Trump to Hitler or Mussolini that, “their entire existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House,” in a statement to The Washington Post this weekend.
I have a question for my fellow liberal Americans:
“If they come to put you on a train, are you capable of fighting back? And if so, would you?”
Note that I didn’t ask if you might prevail, only could you and would you.
As for me and my household, yes and yes.
And if you think the question is foolish, unthinkable, unrealistic, whatever, I invite you to study WWII European history, in particular the rise and rhetoric of Hitler and Mussolini. C’mon guys, we’ve been there done that.

Not that I like Trump, by any means, but I think the spokesperson might have meant “worldview” and misspoken?
Donald Trump and his followers look more like Doctor Who villains by the day. I half expect them to unveil a new military unit that is vaguely salt shaker shaped.
