Paul was a master during all of his Saturday morning shows which entertained both my children AND ME!!

@TheRealElvira gods he was just sooo important. He broke so many barriers by being an openly gay children's show host who featured LGBTQIA+ guests. Against heteronormative kids' programming, his show stood out: be loud, be creative, be you.

I never knew him personally but his comedic work left so many wonderful impressions throughout my life, I can only imagine he was even brighter in person to those blessed to have been in closer proximity.

@TheRealElvira So sorry for your loss & to hear about Paul’s passingI😔 I loved his performance as the Penguin’s father on the tv series Gotham (wish they had used him more before killing him off on the show), the genuine warmth & humanity that he brought to the role showed he had a bit more acting chops than he’s been given credit for as PeeWee Herman! (Funny tho that character was, too!) I would’ve loved to have seen him in more dramatic roles. My deepest condolences!
