@brucelawson yes i still quite frequently grab cheap CDs to rip to FLAC and mp3 myself ... particularly for things that just aren't available in lossless format anywhere

I still buy CDs. Then I rip them.

I don’t mind them piling up. It means I can re-rip them whenever.

@aardrian Whereas all 3 of us retain our youthful looks and zest, so can easily be mistaken for Gen Z in a darkened room, I actually own numerous CD players, some more than 20 ears old. @patrick_h_lauke

I have one that is 30 years old and sometimes opens during play. Probably to yell at the Gen-Z kids to get off my lawn.
