In case you had not noticed yet, we love being in touch with our users! ❤️

In fact, Vivaldi would never be what it is if it wasn't for its dedicated community.

We want to hear from you! How long have you been using our browser, and why did you choose us? 😀

(Throwback picture from our user meetup in Japan a few months ago :tony_happy: )

@Vivaldi I'm a long time user! I can't remember the exact date but it wasn't too long after 1.0 so probably late 2016.

I enjoyed switching browsers quite a bit then, and using slightly obscure forks of FF and Chrome (SlimJet, PaleMoon, a handful of others I can't remember).

Vivaldi struck me as what I liked from presto Opera and some of the browsers I was using, but a bit more stable. Customisable, independent and trustworthy were all things I was a fan of!

zedaardv,

@Vivaldi
I was an Opera user since version 3.6 (i think that was the first public release). Loved Opera.
Then around version 12 it stopped being Opera, I don't know how I first found Vivaldi. It was a little rough at first, I was dual browsing Opera and Vivaldi. One day many years ago, I just went over to Vivaldi and never looked back. like 2016 i guess.

NoIdeaForNick,

@Vivaldi I've been using browser for Windows for less than month, but I discovered Vivaldi two years ago when searching for some private browser for mobile. So I found about Vivaldi, tested it and I liked it but didn't falled in love. So since than on mobile I've been using (in chronological order): Vivaldi, DuckDuckGo, Vivaldi Duckduckgo Brave, Vivaldi, Brave, DuckDuckGo Vivaldi. Than I've downloaded version for Windows and loved it! My favourite features? Quick commands and spatial navigation.

@Vivaldi
I have been using Vivaldi for many months. The tab functions and the translator are good for websites in other languages. Mail goes a little overboard when it comes to filtering emails that could be spam but aren't.

Koltai,

@Vivaldi

@Vivaldi Firerox quantum was the reason I had the necessity to find a browser. It did not happen to me since I discovered computer and realized that IE was a total waste.

Vivaldi was the only choice for a user like me, that no magic.
Today, nothing has changed, it may become even worse on customization in the browser sphere.

Phani_,

@Vivaldi Been using Vivaldi since almost version 1. Have it installed on all my devices.

@Vivaldi I've been using Vivaldi for 2 months and I've chosen it because I prefer to support European products to American ones.

tasket,

@Vivaldi I used Opera back around c2000 on my Psion Series 5mx. So much has changed since then...

demerara,

@Vivaldi
When Opera went over to the dark side, I soon found Vivaldi taking shape...been using it ever since. Great browser, far more bells and whistles than I will ever use. Love the blocking.

iAlbert91,

@Vivaldi I have been using it since last month. As for why choosing Vivaldi, it reminds me a lot of the old Opera days (either 4.0 or 5.0 days). I would use it on everything from desktops to Java powered cell phones to DS and Wii.

@Vivaldi Been using Vivaldi since its initial release. Gave up Chrome/Firefox and used Vivaldi almost exclusively for years; even on Android too.

Unfortunately, with recent Red Hat, IBM, Fedora, (I guess it's all the same?), I've rediscovered my old open source roots and have graviated back to Firefox. The switch was not without plenty of pain points I had to fix, but it is nice using the free and open web and trying as best I can to help keep it that way.

To all Vivaldi Devs/Contributors = ❤️

SylvainCloutier,

@Vivaldi less than a month, but love it so far! ❤️💯 :vivaldi_red: :tony_normal:

    @leocadio Have you tried our Standalone version? Apart from password and extension transferring not being possible due to encryption linked to each computer, it's fully portable.
