@actuallyautistic @nhan I think it depends on the context. Here is my understanding of this hashtag and I welcome others to chime in or chase the hashtag back to the controversy. I have been told that #actuallyautistic was originally pushed by the organization #autism speaks to reframe the online conversion on what “real autism looks like.” The response was not as intended and the autistic community interested in reclaiming it did so.
