I would be happy to :) Although my methods are arcane and I freaking hate LaTeX, I think there are some ways of making it more humane.

LaTeX is pain.... but the best tool for the job I am aware of.

LaTeX is not like other languages in that you can learn it and things make sense. it is all edge cases. there is very little in the way of predictable structure unless you want to typeset exactly what Knuth had in mind. it is mind bogglingly user-hostile and laden with like 30 years of backwards compatibility baggage. it make pretty PDF tho
