@ksv236@hn50 Oh I’ve been following #Telegram for years, this is probably their mildest offense. They have literally turned users over to the police in multiple nations for what they’ve said on their service.
@realcaseyrollins@hn50 what they said matters. Telegram giving data on court orders about illegal activists and never the legit user data. Throughout the history, telegram never compromised ordinary user's data. Freedom of speech differs from promoting violence etc. And in case, if u think e2ee is better look at all those chat leaks and hacks occurred in WhatsApp though being e2ee. Freedom is for people and for those misusing it privacy is a luxury that should be restricted.
