People really should learn the military alphabet when talking on the intercom, it's so useful.

@Monsterlady We were in a shop once and had to give our postcode, and my husband said "zero delta sierra" and the assistant said "Is that sierra with a C or an S?" Apparently there is a singer called Ciera with a soft C. Kind of defeats the purpose of the phonetic alphabet!

@suearcher Yes, the singer Ciara, I think. I wonder what could be an alternative for the S, but the C is Charlie, so you'd think they should know it!

@Monsterlady
I think the assistant in question was very young. Maybe he'd never even heard of the phonetic alphabet!

(I guess Sugar would work for S, and that's one a lot of people do use)

@suearcher Sugar also could be another one but it never hurts to learn that type of alphabet. 😊

@Monsterlady I like to switch it up every so often
I've used fruits, pokemon names, colors, household items, and a lot more 😂

@Rana I would love to hear that over a loudspeaker. Like don't just say M or N they sound too similar!
