schwa, 8 months ago Frame.work fires a shot across Apple's bows here. I’d love if i could just replace parts of my MBP when needed and not shell out a full $3-$5k every few years.

karppinen, 8 months ago @schwa what’s interesting is that Apple would likely have better, not worse, margins selling upgraded modules, since the expensive-to-make parts in a MBP are the ones you’d probably not replace (the unibody case, the display, etc)
