So .. there's lots I might have liked about this track if it had been handled differently. The beat is cool, his vocal is great. And the virtual vs 3D concept is relatable in our internet- dominant culture.
But we really DID NOT need the misogynist rap, or commodified representation of women. Fuck western music industry culture that thinks any of this is desirable. So base, so unimaginative, such a waste of our beautiful Jungkookie's talent. Blergh.

After listening to your covers, I'm so disappointed in your solo work. You've got such talent and it's being wasted on bs using the tried and true sex sells. Also this confirms western rap and hip-hop is dead to me. These current "artists" just aren't. Misogyny isn't cool.
@pixelcats unfortunately the majority of the fandom has on its purple glasses and won't call it out. They will go make it a comercial success no matter the version bc it's JK not paying any attention the message it's sending. It also confirms Harlow is everything I thought he was, utter trash. I actually don't mind the rest of the track without the rap .. it's not special, but it's ok and I'll stream it in my Chapter 2 playlists, but it is disappointing, when we know who amazing he can be.

@pixelcats@scribblemoose I have said it before but I do wonder if this is what Yoongi meant by saying JK is annoying? A very polite way of saying he's not listening to their advice this time. We've seen shades of this before and JK does have a bit of a stubborn streak. He will do what he wants bc after all he's JK international playboy. Get him to MS fast. He needs the actual maturation process it gives.

But, even though he's more than capable of doing that, I feel like everyone os forgetting about the fandom that's always there to back him up, support him, and take him to even more unimaginable records. We are a damn team!!
