With yet another stellar jobs report, Joe Biden has created over 14 million jobs since taking office. Over 800,000 of those have been in manufacturing. Joe Biden is focused on building an economy from the bottom up and the middle out, the way it should be. Voters should be giving him credit, but they are being poisoned by a media environment that creates false equivalencies with Republicans—who, by the way, have a terrible record for job creation compared to Democrats.
@georgetakei Presidents are not directly responsible for anything, and I also hate the emphasis on EV manufacturing instead of broader sustainable transportation shifts. The Biden administration is a joke when it comes to climate action.
Still, I appreciate manufacturing and industrial development in the west! We need to reverse the outsourcing trend
@georgetakei more jobs doesn’t mean more people are getting hired. The “American economy” of tracking job growth instead of job hiring, sounds a whole lot like political theater to hide real problems.

@georgetakei How many of those jobs pay enough to afford groceries, mortgage on a house, etc? A job that doesn't pay a living wage doesn't count as a job.
@georgetakei When James Carter left office, the United States was a creditor nation AKA nations owed America more money than we owed others. Reagan put an end to that with #Rethuglican deficit spending. Carter was a great president, period, and a #Democrat .
I don’t get it. I work on projects that are the literal, direct result of Biden’s policies bringing work from overseas here & the projects are many and massive. Solar cells are going to be made from raw silica through final cell manufacture all in the US. Multiple battery plants from mining the lithium through installation in the vehicle. All here. All new, good-paying jobs.
Where’s the coverage & credit for the best presidency for jobs creation since Eisenhower and Roosevelt?
@georgetakei presidents do not create jobs. There is some correlation, but definitely not good enough to claim that Joe Biden or any other president has created jobs
