🆕 blog post -- Google Chromebook Plus review roundup: A mixed bag

Google’s newest class of laptops is available today, and you can read a Plus review on the device you’re interested in. Here’s a roundup of early thoughts, with my review forthcoming.

@kevinctofel
For personal use I'd still recommend a used laptop with Windows on it.
More versatility and with Chrome browser (or any other) it's fully functional.
Chromebooks are great for locked down environments but to me limit options and flexibility.

@kevinctofel And this is why the whole Plus naming convention doesn’t mean much. Is it better overall? Sure. Does it move the needle? Not really because the product still is a bit ho-hum finished pepoduct.

Google needs a true premium tier and really focus on making it shine. We know ChromeOS is fine on low-to-mid range hardware.
