It’s interesting how the debate around AI ethics has reconfigured the moral landscape around piracy. People who proudly supported The Pirate Bay a decade ago suddenly are very concerned about the rights of IP holders.

@harrym oh yeah its absolutely different and I can think of lots of reasons why — who’s profiting, who’s being exploited, the larger effects on society and the culture, just for starts. Anyone who tells you this shit is simple is selling something.
