Looking at options for a new router, and having a hard time making the final decision. At the moment, the decision is basically boiling down to:

  1. Higher spec and cheaper, but also older. Just hit EOL, so no official firmware updates anymore, but there is an active open source one that should keep being updated for now.
  2. Lower spec, 20% more expensive than the other option (at current discounted prices for both), but just released in May this year so should get updates for years to come.
