    @djlink Watching a defrag is soothing for a specific subsection of a subculture. I feel targeted.

    I also feel motivated to create a web visualization of a simulated defrag. Use the algorithms against a generated set of data elements in a list/array. Visualize with appropriate skeuomorphisms.

    Not useful (in that it performs the data movement task) but visually appealing. As the screen-savers of old were useful past the time when burn-in became less of a issue. Aesthetics.us useful.
