@Gina Hm. Is this why I hyper-focus in spurts? Like, do nothing but read constantly for weeks, then suddenly I'm spending all my time #CrossStitching, and then nothing but #genealogy. . . . ? I never thought of it in connection with being #AuDHD, but it kind of makes sense.
@devxvda@lmgenealogy that def happens in genealogy for me. I can forget to eat and spend hours down rabbit holes. Anything that involves puzzle solving like that does it for me. My education is mathematics, because I always enjoyed the immersion in the puzzle. Crochet is more of a mental shutdown, it focuses my mind on a single task.
