@arstechnica And people in other countries (and some far left liberals) just can't understand why so many Americans shun public transportation. Besides the risk of getting mugged, robbed, shot or stabbed, there is always this. Very few people are willing to give up their cars and ride buses or trains when there are people like this around. I know that if you can't or don't own a car you have few other options, but I am just explaining why people who do own cars don't want to give them up. It might be better for the global environment, but it's not better for my personal environment nor that of the people I Love and associate with. And I realize that people walking around with TB is a relatively rare occurrence, but people also get on buses and trains while they are infected with Covid, the flu, and various other respiratory ailments, and you have no idea who they are so you can't even try to avoid sitting or standing near them.
@arstechnica This has been going on more than a year. People of Tacoma are at risk of getting TB because she refuses to get treatment and refuses to isolate. Now no one knows where she is.

Gonna take a leap here and assume she's an older white woman. The police have more immediate issues to address but this is a woman who is spreading a dangerous disease.
IMHO, the police union and department probably fought covid vaccination and along with institutionalized racism, see this woman as a non threat, so they could care less.
She isn't brown so she isn't dangerous.
Its ridiculous that she's still free spreading TB.
