@bbdd333 🤔 (they do, however, also have active hams... I think they use FRS to get to the ham radio folks to get out).

@ai6yr I have an old Wouxun with all the FRS and GMRS frequencies in it and an unlocked firmware for emergencies. You can put a roll-up antenna on a pole 20 feet up and transmit at 5 watts.
