osiris, 7 months ago @sciencebase We have that too in swedish. "Miljard" is an american billion, "biljon" is a proper billion (= megamillion). Very confusing for Swedes, not unknown to creep into news reporting where magnitudes of stuff (usually money) can get... not correct.
