@martijnbraam @mntmn I learnt Python on a Nokia N900. It ran Maemo, a Debian fork with a Qt based Xorg environment. I’d love to see tech like that thrive again.

@whynothugo @mntmn hah I did the same thing. Using python in nano I think and writing an app from scratch right on the phone with pygtk. A level of productivity no other phone has hit since.

Maemo was not Qt based though, that was GTK2 :D

@martijnbraam @mntmn I think you’re right and it was GTK2. My own code was Python+PySide, that’s why I thought of Qt.

My memory is fuzzy, but this might have been where I learnt to use Vim.
