That was fun. A few days ago my Mac Studio drive ran out of space without warning. I set about updating my VMs, reclaiming free space, and ensuring Pleroma was also on the latest version. After three days of pushing this along in my spare time, I’m finished. Finally. #SelfHosting

Ever since I've started using Apple Silicon machines, they will crash hard at some unknown random point between 80gb and 100gb free, the unpredictability of it makes me nervous - I'm always near that point
@js It said I had 169GB free, but if you did a “Get Info” on the HD it said 168.2GB Purgeable. FFS. Not useful. I have to flush my on-HDD TimeMachine snapshots then let the TimeMachine backup catch up, move stuff to an external drive. OMFG.
