I'm a huge fan of solar lights in my front yard. Almost all of them are flowers of some kind, to twinkle and sparkle in the winter. Today I received one that is a watering can on a small shepherd's hook and it has tiny filament wires shooting out of the spout sprayed out toward the ground....which twinkle like water in the sunlight. I'm a simple human and this delights me.
@Doreen32128 I'm pretty excited to see it tonight for the first time...it's going to either rain or snow and I'm expecting to be doubly delighted either way!
@WecanbeGyros I have some neighbors who walk their doggies around this part of the loop to see what's new in the garden. They stand there and discuss it lolol!!! I love that!
@Lizette603_23 that's so cool! I wish I could see it! I sold my house I miss taking care of my yard. I was into microclover instead of grass, pollinator plants, etc. My Dad has solar orb that glows in his yard he made the stand for it, he's a welder. You'd love it! Heehee
@Jon_Kramer ooooo I had those until the sun bleached them out and they wouldn't recharge no matter how many batteries I replaced lolol! LOVE THEM. Thanks for the reminder.
@Lizette603_23 , I just tossed one out this morning... most of the time they last about 2 years until they won't recharge, ultra violet decays them, or they get stolen. They are so cheap that it doesn't bother me.

I really liked your watering can, but that would be stolen from my front yard in days, and I'm the only one who ever uses the back yard, so it wouldn't be as much fun.
@WecanbeGyros I removed every speck of "grass" from my front yard....it's rocky and stupid water use. Put in varying sizes/colors of river rock to simulate streams, plus beautiful curving split pathways, one to stair with a railing another with a slope, for hand trucks or other non stair needs. Planted all self sustaining things as well as a butterfly haven for their migrations...bees have water stations and places to rest....It's a pretty rockin front yard. Yes, I am bragging lolol
