It feels extremely insincere to ask ChatGPT to turn “writes good code” into a performance review which it does with eloquence.
It feels as fake as a birthday card to send that as feedback to someone and as a manager to read it. Yet this is life now.
All that’s needed to complete this circle of insecurity is for everyone to also use ChatGPT to summarize performance reviews so we spend a ton of electricity to add then remove a bunch of obfuscation to our communication.
