@EugestShirley Yeah, the roof needs to move, I think I'll put another piece of wood over it for the roof. Need to determine what kind of roof I want, too.
@ai6yr Are any of your neighbors re-roofing? You might ask for leftover scraps of flashing and shingles.
I would give a small overhang on the sides and back too. Caulk fails in full sun.
@EugestShirley The neighbor behind my relatives house is indeed re-roofing, I need to talk to those guys about snagging some flashing and paper. (using clay shingles, so no go there). If they have a big enough piece of plywood from the roof too. I'd just go get it but it's one of those mega-bins, I am always reluctant to raid those, ha ha.
@EugestShirley Follow up: walked over and chatted with the roofer, insisted on using the scrap in the bin versus some other stuff he offered me, and also snagged a piece of plywood which is perfect for the roof!
@kc7uqd My daughter has a pile of tweener/teen/high school books she is getting rid of, and they'll go in there first. And my wife wants to dump a bunch of CDs so probably put those out, too. I wonder if people will just start planting stuff in there (like I do to others? LOL)
