"Kidney Failure” was NOT on my ‘bingo card’ for 2024, but here we are.....
It is so important to be your own healthcare advocate. This is the reason I am alive today, as I almost died right before NYE after multiple ER visits that resulted in me being sent home when I should have been admitted with the onset of an aggressive (and nearly fatal) AKI brought on by an allergy to a new med.
I am happy, I am (relatively) healthy, and excited to start recovering at home so I can start enjoying 2024 ❤️🩹
