The long answer would tempt me to consider org mode again, and I refuse to go there.

@drdrang @charlesesmith Dr. Drang took the words out of my mouth. Realistically speaking, Obsidian is probably the closest you have to an org mode with a non-hostile user interface, but even that probably only has about 80% of the surface area.

@film_girl @drdrang @charlesesmith I’ve repeatedly almost picked it up a number of times as well and have decided to be content with the processing that Obsidian is able to do. But Org is this ever-present looming draw, kind of like the Shimmer in Annihilation.

@film_girl @mbjones @drdrang @charlesesmith Currently using VSCode as a Finder replacement with a bunch of file preview extensions installed. Allows me to break the silo between project files and project notes.
