@DJDarren this is why Republicans hate educated people. My dad was a political science major, and studying history was his hobby. The last 20 years of his life he lived in Arkansas, and he was the proud owner of one of the only two Biden yard signs in the whole entire county he lived in.
@GatekeepKen@maggiejk@DJDarren What's scary is that a lot of them have university degrees and doctorates, but they also have the emotional maturity of 4th graders. (Apologies to all actual 4th graders.) They're emotionally stunted, and it makes them perpetually confused at & frightened of the world; enraged at their own confusion & fear; and self-protectively tribalistic and nasty.
And Trump plays on all of it --not because he's a smart con man, but bc he's a con man at their emotional level.
