I could also imagine a variant of 2 on long train journeys/flights.

It might make working in those spaces more viable. (The tray table could accommodate input devices perhaps better than a whole laptop.)

If we were to successfully displace more flights with longer train journeys it could be useful.

Just because I imagine it doesn’t mean it’ll happen, mind.

@stroughtonsmith a variation on option 2, I’m hoping that one day, after my van is converted, I’ll be able to sit or stand in my small #vanlife space but feel like I’m at my desk with multiple large displays.

@stroughtonsmith I have a similar mental model for use cases. My hope is that Widgetsmith fits into the second case where you set up a virtual workspace and occupy it for a while, using a variety of apps concurrently. And so putting little bits of information or personalization all around you could be nice. It will be very interesting to discover if that’s right or if the actual use cases are wildly different than I can imagine.
