Woke up with a user report that #Tor wasn't blocked anymore in Russia and they could connect without bridges.

Verified with @ooni's Circumvention Charts, and yep, it checks out. 🤨

But this smells... feels like heavier censorship's on the horizon.

Update: Roskomnadzor blocked #Tor again.

Users can bypass censorship using Tor bridges.

@ggus @ooni There was a #DNS outage for *.ru on Tuesday evening, https://www.newsweek.com/russia-internet-outage-blackout-1865520 , and it smells like a netsplit experiment, i.e. Russia trying to separate its citizens from the global Internet.
