A Medigap plan helps with expenses after regular Medicare pays. There are many plans. I dropped my Medicare Advantage plan in January by calling Medicare.gov to complain abut Anthem BCBS changing benefits on the policy. After switching to regular medicare and getting a $0 drug plan they said I wasn't eligible for Medigap until age 65.
