@twostraws@mikaelacaron@swiftovercoffee I’ve brought my app PhotoShade to visionOS, which lets you search your photo library by colour. The visionOS version has an immersive space that surrounds you with a 3D grid of your photos arranged by hue.
@twostraws@mikaelacaron@swiftovercoffee I built APOD for visionOS! It's a fun way to see photos from NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day service. I have lots of ideas for things to add that would be fun, but I still feel overwhelmed by visionOS. Immersive Spaces seem cool but daunting to build and I don't really know where to start.
I started when the iPad was released, then added iPhone, Apple TV, and day one on Apple #VisionPro
Dances are people moving (their fingers) to their favorite songs, and the motions being captured and played back. Song info is stored with the dance, and each person needs to bring their own music (e.g. Apple Music subscription).
@twostraws Thanks for showing me this screen shot. It should immediately load a map. That is certainly not what is expected. 🤦♂️ I have a feeling I know what is going on and it is something that I need to fix. By chance do you have your locale set to the US, but your location is not in the US?
@StephenLJohnson Yes, that's exactly it – a US App Store account, but living abroad. I suspect quite a few Vision Pro owners are in this situation right now 🙃
@twostraws Thanks for the heads up on this. I need to get this scenario fixed. The app is trying to load a US only backcountry map and it is giving you no indication that it couldn't load it 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Tap on the Map icon and then select Thunderforest or AccuTerra Topo
@twostraws By the way I used your site a ton while developing the app. I consistently found that your site was the most helpful when I had questions about Swift and SwiftUI. Thank you!
@twostraws@mikaelacaron@swiftovercoffee Wow that is not great 🤦🏻♂️ It may have been rate limited by the API. Same thing for both Upcoming and Recent tab I assume?
Virtris is a classic arcade falling block game that's available for visonOS It has an immersive space mode built in as well where you can lock yourself away to focus on the falling blocks Hope you like it!
@twostraws@mikaelacaron@swiftovercoffee This is a bit silly, but I’d love for some virtual home decoration. Gimme photo frames, paintings, decorative clocks, … to hang on tue wall in the background while I do my work. Just wanna make the house look good while jacked in 😂
