Fun fact: a lot of potential advertisers for LNL podcasts want to blur the lines between advertising and content. For example they only really want to buy an ad if they can also get someone from their company (often the CEO) on the show to do an interview.
We always say no to that because we have a strict separation between ads and content.
The result is that we sell fewer ads than we could, but that's less of an issue than it used to be thanks to all our wonderful patrons. ❤️
@JoeRess So the podcasts from LNL are the only ones that I don't skip the ads. I skip all ads on other podcasts because they are too long and/or irrelevant for my country. The LNL ads are short and sharp. I wonder, as podcast advertisers, whether having short ads that aren't skipped would be more valuable than longer ads that are skipped.
