I dunno it really doesn't feel like banning companies like Meta from operating in the EU would be that much of a problem given sufficient tools and time to extract historic data.
@hayo True. When I deleted my old Facebook account many years ago it wiped away a lot of photos and posts I'm glad no longer exist. One's childhood/teenage ramblings and vanity should not be searchable.
