I forgot my username. Clicks forgot your username link and gets redirected to a support page You need to log in to contact support. If I've forgotten my username to log in, how the hell do you expect me to log in to contact support and request my username? #fail#EpicFail#LogicError
@seedy This reminds me of a situation I read about once on either Computer Stupidities or Tech Tales. An ISP IIRC decided one day to change everybody's passwords for security reasons. Naturally, people couldn't log in, and called the ISP. They were promptly told their new passwords had been Emailed to them. This set up a nice chicken and egg scenario where you need your new password in order to get your Email to find out what your new password is. Another similar scenario was when some equipment was shipped somewhere, in a crate, locked with a combination lock. The sheet of paper with the combination was locked securely inside.
