@vorlon I ended up just buying a new bottom for $30 off ebay rather than buying a whole new unit for $90+, but while shopping I was surprised to see all kinds of parts available. Replacement screens, pressure switches, control boards, heating elements.. It's clearly repairable, although not worth the cost for me when I was able to get a newer model for so cheap.

I don't remember when we bought this instant pot, but apparently the model is from 2015. So it's likely 7-8 years old. It certainly had a good run!
