@barney @FrankFrank @mcnado I was always worried that foreign govts could buy key players in our govt. The Hanssen (FBI) (and other FBI’s), Naval Secrets, all being sold. Legislation being bought to pass or kill by tobacco companies, Gun Lobbies… all of it made this inevitable. The only restraint isn’t ’who gets it, it’s ’how much will they pay me?’. It’s been getting more blatant for 50 years. This is the logical outcome.
