@christianp I never did get my head around Rails. I think it was the "convention over configuration" thing — I'm sure it's great if you're a Rails developer and know the conventions (well, not that sure) but for me it's the same as any "configuration over convention" app except the configuration file is a secret.

Also you have to write everything in Ruby which I never quite got on with either.

@christianp Ruby is a delightful language, imo. But Rails is a catalogue of bad design decisions.
