In German language, there's a funny feature allowing compound nouns of principally indefinite length, but mostly they are two- or threefold. So, somebody created the term "Formaldemokratie" which means formal democracy. I created the Hashtag #Formaldemokratie, because I found it a striking expression for what is the case. A polity which only formally is a democracy.
