@christianselig the touchpad is one of the things that really pushes the Apple TV ahead of other media players for me. Amazing how we’re all so different.

@NitP I’d love it if it wasn’t overly sensitive. In the YouTube app for instance I find “clicking” often jumps to the next control. Might be a YouTube thing though

@christianselig Not sure if voice control is an option (had an exchange with @gruber RE ATV controls and he’s not a fan of the talking to the remote - https://mastodon.social/@gruber@mastodon.social/112108361170286703).

But you can use Siri, e.g. “jump to 1 hour”. Just tested in Netflix and (amazingly) YouTube.

@christianselig You can click-hold the outer ring while it’s playing until it starts ffwd. Each time you click again it should go faster.

Is it only linear Fast Forward?

@maddox It does, but jumping 10 seconds at a time when you want to go to the end of a 2 hour movie is brutal
