Taking the SJ #EuroNight#nighttrain from Stockholm to Berlin tonight. The train left on time at 17:34, but we are still in Södertälje Syd because of an electrical failure between here and Gnesta. There is no information on when the train can proceed. Have a #sleeper cabin, hoping to wake up in Germany. Always exciting to #interrail!
Finally two hours late at Hamburg-Harburg, Hbf was skipped due to track works. Got enough sleep, so no point in going to Berlin. Instead took an ICE from Harburg to Köln. The joys of an #interrail ticket!
In Köln a 15 min change to RE1 towards Aachen, plenty of time to get some porridge for lunch from Haferkater. This is a Regional Express no-hassle way to get to Liege, avoiding the ICE/Eurostar mess on the high speed line. #CrossBorderRail#InterRail
