Steam's library sharing is bollocks, init.

With Apple's family sharing, if I buy an app, people in my family can also download that app. Simple.

With Steam, I have a couple of games from @Troggie's library that I'd like to play that they currently are not. But because they're currently using their Steam library to play Horizon 2, I can't play an entirely different game.

Why do people pirate shit? It's a mystery.

I'm genuinely irritated by this. It's such a weird rule. "Yeah, you can share a library with your wife, but only one of you can access it at a time, making it largely pointless".

@DJDarren Looks like Steam are going to stop locking shared libraries as long as you're not trying to play the same game.

@heapy Huh. Weird timing for me to bitch about it then.

@DJDarren They were waiting until you got to the end of your tether!
