Dear Williams Sonoma (and every other company that ships goods from an online store)
Creating the shipping label/manifest is not, actually, the same thing as the item being "shipped." Sending me an email saying the item is shipped should mean that the item has been handed to the shipping company and is actually, physically, en route.
Sitting in a box in your warehouse with a label on it isn't, as it happens, shipped.

@Heidiknits yes! The steam part of my espresso machine crapped out a few days ago. For some weird and complicated reasons I decided not to fix it and am upgrading and replacing instead.
