I like how you can put "California" in front of anything to mean "...but kinda not really"

California stop
California sober
California vegetarian
California monogamy
California straight

(yes I just made up those last two but you immediately know what I mean, right?)

Further experiment. You can replace "California" with "-ish"

Stop-ish (ok, not really)
Sober-ish
Vegetarian-ish
Monogamish
Straight-ish

Hmm, now I want to find other -ish words and replace it with the California prefix...

"I'm California Fourty" (i.e. almost 50 years old)
"The paint is California purple" (i.e actually blue)
"He's so California fool" (nope)
"My great-grandma was California Scott" (also nope -- wrong '-ish')
