So after some thought & research, I'll be migrating my main fediverse presence over to https://cosocial.ca/@maj in order to be able to participate in the wider 'verse.

I've really enjoyed the extremely well-governed and actively moderated experience here at eldritch.cafe but I do want to follow a wider swath of sources that include journalists, politicians, and government organizations which, at least in the short term, are going to be found on some of the "big ones" like Threads (even if it means doing more of my own moderation).

I absolutely understand the desire to create multiple spaces with different experiences -- and that is one of the great things about the fediverse!

The migration process seems to have gone well -- it took all of 5 minutes to move followers and other files over-- and I hope this will be pretty seamless for followers.

See you on the other side!

Am I crazy for not wanting to repeat during the week? We've had:

Chicken (with brown rice, creamy mushroom sauce)
Turkey (tacos)
Fish (with egg pasta / roast cabbage)
Chickpea (in a roast veggie soup)
Cheese (pizza)

I guess sausages tonight? Or chili with veggie meat?

Avoiding beef and don't want it to be carb-centric (ie not lasagna). Already have tofu on the schedule for Meatless Monday.

Fascinating! Does anybody else have ticker-tape synesthesia? Some people see spoken words converted into text in their heads. This is exactly what I have been waiting / hoping for (well, I want them to have their own servers and broadcast to threads, etc. but closer!)
But I don't get it? When I click on those links I go to threads and if I follow it will follow from my Threads account.
I cant find their accounts from search on this side either.

So, how do I follow here?

I do not see any profiles when I search for @threads.net so I'm going to go see if eldritch has them blocked.

(I love this safe home but I'll have to consider other options if they don't want to play with the wider fediverse! (which is totally understandable!) )
