I'm going to have to intersperse some other books with the Mistborn trilogy. I'm 5 hours in and only 200 pages into the 2500 page trilogy. I don't think I'll ever buy a trilogy all in one book again. It is just too long. Especially Sanderson who can't seem to write anything small.
I should have made this decision earlier today since I had a hold come in from Libby, but I already delayed it.
@thelinuxcast Yeah, on my first read through Steven Erikson's Malazan book of the fallen, I did it paperback to paperback. My reread was after I'd donated those paper backs. So I bought the collected edition from Amazon. it's 10 books totaling 11k pages. Of course the giant ebook was split into separate books but I do think knowing it's an 11k page story would give you an aneurysm.
@ryankage Yes, but without going back to the contents all the time, I have no clue how close I am to the end of the first book. Also, I'm numbers motivated. I read 70 pages and only get 1% further, it's a bit demoralizing.
