@fuzzychef I don’t know where people got that idea. I came to France as a little German boy, the traditional enemy, who had conquered the country twice in the last 80 years and enslaved parts of its population. Everyone was nothing but nice to me.
“Grandfather” Jon Roux gave me candy and spoke German to me. You know where he learned it? In a German camp where his earlobes fell off of frostbite and God knows what else was done to him.
