“Stunt philanthropy” – things like the viral ALS challenge that you may remember – has more recently been associated with a single influencer: Jimmy Donaldson, a YouTuber called “#MrBeast” who often creates viral videos that raise awareness and money for people in need.
It’s hard to predict what the future holds for stunt #philanthropy, but it seems that it’s probably here to stay.
