What are people using to read books on PC? Needing something that can at least read txt files and add bookmarks.

jaybird110127,

@spaciath QRead? Not sure if it's still purchaseable though.

simon,

@spaciath QRead, maybe Bookworm if you don't feel like paying for that

@simon My copy of QRead hasn't worked in years and I really don't want to support Q at this point.

simon,

@spaciath What does "hasn't worked" mean? Did you have a registration key at some point?

@simon I did indeed! It worked fine for a long time but then one day I open the program and poof! I've tried many times to reach out with no answer. So just gave up.

simon,

@spaciath I'm gonna recycle you. What does "poof" mean? I've used this thing for years. I might actually know.

@simon I totally just tried and it worked! Bought a new key and all is well! Please recycle me though. My brain is shit today.

simon,

@spaciath I thought you had a key already? But glad you got it working.
If you still want to try other ones, I just remembered that Easy Reader on Windows is now free (I think).

@simon I Had a key but did the smart thing and lost it. So I just bought another.
