I have more meds. I am working today.
Back at LifeLabs tomorrow afternoon for yet another round of blood work. I'm waiting on xray appointment for my left elbow - really hope this will be the year my growing bursitis is cut off body. It's been held off since start of covid.
@Pollinators I've been doing mostly telephone or vid conference medical appointments unless it's absolutely necessary to go into an office or other medical facility.
I don't want to get covid, or any other airborne illness, if I can avoid exposure. I don't want to break my 5+ years of no airborne illness infections record.
@Pollinators Thankful to live in an area where there's many safe places for me to enjoy life/nature/fun activities & be able to hang out with some covid safe friends too. It's mostly non-essential indoor places & very crowded outdoor settings that I tend to avoid. I mask up outdoors regularly, on an as needed basis - depending on personal risks assessment at different places, depending on amount of people around & space I have to socially distance.
@Pollinators I haven't dined indoors at a restaurant since covid except for once in an empty place, with new air ventilation system, large space with many windows & all staff were masked up well. There's always take-out, no contact delivery, outdoor places to eat & other safer dining options than eating inside restaurant with bunch of unmasked staff & strangers. I won't play Russian roulette with my health; it's already compromised with preexisting, progressive illnesses.
@Pollinators I have had to walk away from several work conferences & also walk away from several outside of work events - because some were advertised as covid safe & upon arrival, I see/find out it's false & not covid safe. I missed many events like above described because I refuse to go inside, if I see tons of unmasked people from outside.
If an indoor event doesn't require mandatory masking, it is not covid safe - that is not rocket science.
@Pollinators We have a few more POC family run, ethnic stores/take out places here now & that really helps with getting safe dining options on days I'm not into cooking.
I've also marked covered outdoor picnic areas(on digital maps app), all across town - for days it's raining but I still want to share mealtime with loved ones, who don't live with me.
Lots of wonderful parks are very close to my home. I also enjoy just being in our backyard because it's full of nature & urban wildlife visits 😊
