one of the cool things I'm learning about "polychrome" weaving is how each color is weaving the same image but offset slightly - here the purple thread is one step "up" from the pink thread so depending on if the treadling sequence is going up or down, it's either on the inside or the outside of the flower shapes.

polychrome has this neat n+1 effect too where you use two colors of yarn and get three colors in the cloth (4 if you count the white background)
